“Congratulations Mahesh Kothare: Celebrating the Launch of a New Book”

Recently, Mr. Prayag Khose had the privilege of attending the book launch event for “Damn It ani barach kahi”, a new book written by Marathi film actor and director, Mr. Mahesh Kothare. The event was a grand affair with several eminent personalities in attendance. To top it off, Prayag was given the opportunity to felicitate Mr. Kothare, Mrs. Nivedita Saraf, and Mr. Sachin Pilgaonkar on stage, in the presence of the honorable Maharashtra deputy chief minister, Mr. Devendra Fadanvis.


Growing up in Maharashtra, watching Mr. Kothare’s movies was a part of our daily routine. His films have always been a source of entertainment, and as we grew older, they became a source of inspiration. Prayag has always admired Mr. Kothare’s work and his ability to bring out the best in his actors. Therefore, it was an honor for him to be present at his book launch event and felicitate him.


The event began with a speech by Mr. Devendra Fadanvis, who spoke about the importance of art and culture in our society. He praised Mr. Kothare’s contribution to Marathi cinema and appreciated his efforts to preserve and promote the Marathi language through his work. He also spoke about the importance of reading and encouraged people to read more books.
Next, Mr. Kothare took the stage to talk about his new book, “Damn It ani barach kahi”. He shared his inspiration for writing the book and spoke about the themes and characters in the story. He also talked about his journey as a filmmaker and how it has influenced his writing. It was fascinating to hear him speak about his experiences, and it was clear that he is not just a talented filmmaker but also a gifted writer.
